Where is your store?
We primarily operate on the interwebs! We also do pop ups in the Houston area. You can stay up to date on our events by subscribing to our newsletter or following on social media.
Where do you get your records from?
We are a full retail operation and an authorized distributor of major labels which means, we have access to the same new releases as brick and mortar stores!
Shipping Policy
In Stock Items
Once your order is received it will be shipped within 3 business days. Items are shipped in sturdy cardboard mailers and shipped via USPS. (other shipping options coming soon!)
You will receive tracking information once your item is received by the USPS. Please note it may take 1-2 days after your tracking number is created for the item to be shown as received or moving through the USPS system. This is wholly in control of USPS and their tracking system. If 5 days have passed and no updates are shown on the tracking number please email us and you may also reach out directly to USPS on the status.
Some items may ship from different locations which means you may receive your order in different packages.
Pre-Order Items
Pre-orders are items with a future release date. We receive release date information from our distributor. If the release date is changed or the release is pulled you will be notified by email. We will typically ship pre-orders on their release date. If there is any delay you will be notified by email.
You will be charged for pre-order items when you place your order. If you decide you no longer want a pre-order item you must let us know by email at least 7 days prior to the release date. We will cancel your pre-order item and process a refund. If it is less than 7 days prior to the release date we can still attempt to cancel the order, however due to our inventory stocking schedule this may not be possible and the item may ship. You may still return the item but will be responsible for return shipping.
Please note: orders that include in stock and pre-order items in one order will ship when the pre-order item is released. If you want to split the shipping please email us. There may be an additional shipping charge applied.
Returns/Refund Policy
We are a small independent store with inventory that moves quickly. In light of that, all sales are final. However, if your order is missing items, or contains defective/incorrect products we will work with you to make it right.
To start a return please email us at contact@goodstuffrecords.com and include your full name and order number.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at contact@goodstuffrecords.com.
For items that are missing, incorrect or defective, we have a 14 day return request window, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. Returns will only be accepted for manufacturer's defects or receipt of a title differing from what you ordered.
Please note, defective does not include cosmetic imperfections to record sleeves. This is only for manufacturer defects to the record itself, i.e. a mispress or label in the grooves. Mishandling of the record and/or its sleeve is not a manufacturer defect. However, if there is damage to the shipping box and sleeve please reach out to us at contact@goodstuffrecords.com for review.
Return postage for incorrect or defective items will be paid by Good Stuff Records. The item being returned must be packaged in a manner that helps safeguard against damage in transit back to us. If, upon receipt, we deem inferior packaging was used by the party returning the item, we may reduce the amount of the refund.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Pre-Orders
You can request to cancel a pre-order item by emailing us at contact@goodstuffrecords.com at least 7 days prior to the release date. We will process your refund back to the original method of payment. If it less than 7 days prior to the release we will work to cancel the order, however it may still ship at which time you will need to ship the item back for a refund. You will be responsible for return shipping.
Damage/Other Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately at contact@goodstuffrecords.com if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If your order is damaged in transit, we will request photos of of both the item AND packaging as you received it. Without these photos, we are unable to process an insurance claim and are therefore unable to provide a refund for your order.
Exceptions/Non-returnable items
Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
